What Happens When You Don’t Change Diaper?

Addison doesn’t usually complain about dirty diapers.  Mostly because Mommy has always been following closely with his diaper-changing schedule.  But what will happen when a diaper hasn’t been changed for a month?  Find out here.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas came and gone!  This year’s Christmas had been especially quiet because Juanita and Chris both went back to Hong Kong.  But just because it is quiet, it doesn’t mean that this Christmas has any less ‘actions.’  If you still haven’t watch all the videos that I took over Christmas, on Addison opening his many presents, click here to start.  Just make sure you have at least 10-15 minutes to spare!

My Best Friend’s Baby

I don’t know if any of my long-time reader remember this post.  Today, I received an email from a good friend of mine, Howard.  Not only was he wishing us a Merry Christmas, he was also announcing that he’s going to be a father by May, 2009.  On last count, this is Howard’s first child (as far as he is made aware) and I want to wish him the best!

Meanwhile, I sticking to my announcement plan.

Baby’s First Picture

We had our second visit to the the doctor today, and as expected, we received our first ultrasound scan of our baby!

UltraSound20081219

If you don’t quite get how to read this scanned image, you might want to click on picture to enlarge the image itself.  Once magnified, you should be able to see 2 “ + “ signs in the middle of the image.  You might even be able to see the dotted line in between the 2 ‘ + ‘ signs.  Basically, everything in between the 2 ‘ + ‘ signs is the fetus.

Out of curiosity, I went back to our Golden Little Piggy site to see how did those ‘scans’ came along right around the same stage.  I was surprised to see that Addison’s second scan was taken at exactly the stage as this scan.  If you look to the left of this image above, you’ll see it states that the baby is ‘9W1D +/- 5’ old.  What it means is that the baby is 9 Weeks and 1 Day old, with a margin or error of plus or minus 5 days.  Now if you look back at Addison’s second scan here, you’ll see the same ‘9W1D +/- 5’ on the left side of the scan!

Very interesting!

Anyway, Dr. Chen didn’t have anything specific to say, except to tell Amy not to stand too much.  Otherwise, he pretty much left it to us to ask him questions.  Since Amy’s morning sickness is NOT limited to the mornings, and more like 24/7 instead, we asked Dr. Chen to prescribe some medication to help Amy feel better.

Other than that, our meeting was rather short, and we left with a great picture of our ‘second one!’

No More Due-Date Betting!

Remember the infamous Guest The Due Date Contest?  Just in case you don’t remember who ended up winning the contest, here’s a picture of the award presentation, taken right outside of my Master Bathroom!

Well, I’m sad to announce that this round of Guess The Due Date Contest has to be cancelled because Dr. Chen told us that instead of waiting for the Baby to ‘pop-out’, we are to pick a date for a Caesarean Section.

As mentioned, the Due Date is forecasted to be on July 20, 2009.  The instruction given to us is to pick a date that is 1 week prior to July 20, and nothing on the weekends.

So instead of asking you to bet and guess, we are curious to know which is your preferred date?  Maybe we might just go with the one date that has the most vote.  But let’s see how the voting goes first!

To cast your vote, look to the sidebar on the left of this page.  The second section down from the Google Search Box is where you can cast your vote.

Vote!  Vote!  Vote!

Let’s Do Some Voting!

Just like last time, let’s do a quick vote to find out if you think ‘The 4th A’ is going to be a boy or a girl.  But unlike the Golden Little Piggy, we don’t get to wait till birth, this time, to find out the gender of ‘The 4th A.’  Instead, Amy and I have decided to find out the gender of ‘The 4th A’ as soon as it is possible via ultrasound imaging.  As much fun as it was to keep everyone guessing, it wasn't so much fun for Amy and I when we were trying to prepare for Addison’s birth without knowing if he was going to be a boy or a girl.  There were so many cute looking gender-specific items that we couldn’t purchase because of the unknown.  We ended up missing out on a lot of cool items, especially in the clothing department.  Although the bright side of this is that it did help us saved some money by not purchasing items that we ended up managed to live without!

So if you look to the top of the sidebar, to the left of this page.  Right underneath the Google Search Box, you’ll see a Boy vs. Girl vote.  Cast your vote and let us know what you think!

Thank you for participating!
